The Capoeira Class at NYR Studios takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning October 6, 2008 from 7:00PM-8:30PM. The cost is $15 per person, per class and is taught by Instructor Alegria. Capoeira (Pronounced ka-poo-eyh-da) is an African-Brazilian martial art that incorporates acrobatics, dance, music, and songs in a rhythmic dialogue of body, mind, and spirit. It is a quick way to a powerful and lithe body and mind. The student will get stronger, learn to defend themselves and have fun doing all of it!
