NYPress Best of New York 09: Best Way to Feel Like a Stud

Haven't checkout out our Samurai Sword class yet? Well, there's no time like the present. Recently, Raab Rashi's class was selected by NYPress as 2009's Best Way to Feel Like a Stud.
The Samurai Sword Class, began on September 24th and takes place every Thursday from 6:00PM to 7:00PM. The price per class is $15 and is taught by Raab Rashi, a certified black-belt. The martial art, called “Siljun Dobup” (a.k.a. Real Sword Training) was developed by Grand Master Jin K. Seong and focuses on the drawing and sheathing of the blade, and making “the perfect cut.” The class is appropriate for teenagers and adults. Any interested parties are invited to attend a free introductory lesson. For more information on the class, its history, its instructor, or to register for lessons, please contact instructor Raab Rashi at 201.317.9517 or email at raabrashi@gmail.com.

Best Way to Feel Like a Stud: Samurai Sword Class
The Workman’s Circle, NYR Studios, 45 E. 33rd St. betw. Madison & Park Aves.
You need a physical hobby and yoga isn’t butch enough and Karate might involve getting hit, right? So what’s left? There’s always swords. No we’re not talking swallowing or any other sort of swordplay (such dirty minds!) Raab Rashi offers a class in “Siljun Dobup,” or “the art of the Samurai sword” for only $15 bucks a class. We’re not endorsing any sort of Kill Bill antics, but how often can you learn how to kill a man for cheaper than what it costs to buy him a decent dinner? We’re in. Visit swordclass.blogspot.com to learn more.

**Also, check out the other classes NYR Studios offers. There are plenty of offers to take advantage of.
